How can I write VBA macro for bchain() and bdh()?

    Hello guys,
I’m trying to download all the Green Bonds listed in BGN in Bloomberg, once I have them all I should use BCHAIN() to download all the bonds issued by the same issuers of the green bonds with the same rating, bond structure, currency, seniority, collateral and coupon type. For each of green and normal bond I need maturity and issuing date and issued amount. Then when I have both green and conventional bond I should download using BDH the yield to maturity, the dailing closing prices bid and ASK. In order to do that faster I world like to use VBA in Excel. Can you Yelp me?
    Thank you,
    Daniele

    Daniele,

I googled most of the Terms Of Art in your post, but I still don't know what you said.

Can you provide links to define and clarify:
    Green Bond
    BGN
    in Bloomberg
    BCHAIN
    coupon type
    normal / conventional bond
    BDH
    ASK
I expect the student to do their homework and find all the errrors I leeve in.

It looks as if you are referring to a Bloomberg webpage that is showing trading information for green bonds.
    I coudn't find a webpage showing these.

I think that BGN = Belgium dollars

I think that Green Bond is AKA Climate Bonds, so called by the issuer to indicate that the issuer is going to give money to the AlGorists and GThunbergs of the world.
