Automatic changing of cell colors

Hi Members
We have Monthly/Quarterly/Annual payments to be made to vendors for our Contracts
in the workbook "Dashboard" and in the worksheet "Payments” which are filled with yellow color for due payments and change the same cells to green color after payment is done. We are doing this manually. What is the best solution to change the cell color from yellow (due) to green (paid) automatically.
