Thread: Mail merge output hyphenated

  1. #1

    Question Mail merge output hyphenated

Is there a macro (ortip) for Word to output a mail merge hyphenated?

    Tried
-Layout > hyphenation > automatic and this didn't work for output of mail merge. Using Microsoft Word 2016
    -Research

Since there are over500 labels with multiple lines of text per label it is not efficient to manually hyphenate.
Desire to use automatic hyphenation feature within Word but it is not hyphenating at the syllable break when there is a long word at the end of a line. This will be helpful to allow more text to fit on the label.

Here's an example where hopefully it would be hyphenating the long words at end of line instead of wrapping the entire word to the next line:

    Thank you,
