Sleeper: Method to show exponential growth in population

I am currently trying to find a method within Excel, of showing the exponential growth in population of Varroa Mites, starting with a single brood cell, entered by a mated female Varroa just prior to the brood cell being capped off(at the 9 day mark), and the subsequent numbers of eggs laid until the worker bee (if not already deceased) emerges from the brood cell at the 21 day mark. Notes about all of this is included in the attached workbook.

Table1, on Sheet 1 shows the brood life cycle of a standard worker bee.

Table2. is where things started to get complicated and a 2.30am I had to give up and go to bed.
