Need to delete any row with "Daily Ledger Bal' in the 3rd column

I Need to Delete each row that has "Daily Ledger Bal" I cannot get "Filter" to work or "Find & Replace" identifies them but leaves the row intact.

Do you really want to delete row or just hide it? Filter works for me. Why does it not work for you?

Thanks for the reply. When recording a macro to filter out the "Daily Ledger Bal" I get the "
Too Many Line continuations" error. My VBA is not good enough to manually write the code for filtering out the rows with "Daily Ledger Bal" )-:. If you have any other suggestion as to how I could make this happen, I would sure appreciate it.

ActiveSheet.Range("$A$1:$C$6").AutoFilter Field:=3, Criteria1:= "<>Daily Ledger Bal", Operator:=xlAnd


or try "begins with" or "does not contain" and see what recorder produces.

Before I tried your solution, I noticed that the cell in the next column to the "daily Ledger Bal" cell was always empty. Then I used Go To -> special and searched for all blank cells in that column. Once selected, it was easy enough to use Delete Row to get rid of all the blank cells & rows with "Daily Ledger Bal" in them.

I should have noticed this before, but you inspired me to look for alternative ways to accomplish this. I am sure you would laugh at my VBA code, But I just celebrate if it works (-:
