Question Advice Needed: PPT Workflow Automation

I am looking for advice. I have about 80 PPT workflows. Each is slightly different. When I need to update a universal piece, well, I have to update 80 PPTs.

Question: Is it possible to automate updating text inside of shapes using Excel? Sort of like a mail merge.

Over the past 3 months, I have researched solutions but can't find something on a larger scale that will accomplish my task.

I'm just looking for advice, and I can start researching based on your advice. Thank you.

Without knowing what at least one of the 80 looks like, this is a guess

I'd Use PP instead of Excel

Use Dir() to loop through the 80

Maybe have to loop through the slides in each PP

Maybe look through the textboxes on each slide to find the one to dhange

    Change it

    Save the PP

    On to next
