This question is for all the excel guru's. The following formula searches for special characters in a string.... or so the guy said. How and why does it work?

=SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(SEARCH({"!","@","#","$","%","^","&","~*","(",")","_","+","=","{","}","[","]","|","\",":",";","'","""","<",">",",",".","~?","/","~~","`"}, A1)))>0
