continuation of an existing problem with new error

I posted about a user whose system will not reopen Access once it's been closed without ending it through the task manager. She is experiencing an additional problem with the application. Remember this is a very mature application that has worked for decades.

Now when running the A/R Ageing app, it crashes with the error: "Cannot Open Any More Databases"

Again, this only happens on one workstation. Everything works on all the other workstations.

The network I was referring to now has a bunch of workstations infected and only one still working properly. The problem is not just in closing the databases. Random bugs are being generated that are not VB programming issues, but Microsoft issues. The same program will work on an uninfected workstation, but crash on an infected workstation.

Is Microsoft going to issue a fix to this or are we screwed?

Problem solved by updating to the latest version of Microsoft 365.
