    Testing VBA tags....

they were fine on first post, but after clicking edit....in either mode this is what happens to the result...the VBA window vanishes, and the carriage returns are gone.

Works fine if you edit with the standard editor.

It looks like the wysiwyg editor must be trying to do something clever with the tags and failing miserably.

I will have a look at some point.

What happens if you edit code tags..?

This hard return thing seems to be affecting me both here and home... must be profile specific? I'm going to try logging out, clearning cookies, and logging in again...

I wonder if I should remove this code.
    [vba]
If Username = "Ken Puls" Then
    Replace(PostText,Chr(10),"")
    End If
    [/vba]

The major part of getting the right answer lies in asking the right question...

Made your code more readable, use VBA tags (this automatically inserts [vba] at the start of your code, and [/vba ] at the end of your code) | Help those helping you by marking your thread solved when it is.
