Paste doesn't work when module is created

Hi All, Recently joined VBAX. I am using Excel2003 with XPSR1. Sometime ago I messed around with disabling or greying out some of the menu items. My problem now, is that when I open a new file or an existing one without VBE the copy and paste works okay. BUT the moment I go into VBE and create a module even a blank one and go back to Excel the paste does not work. On other machine its fine, ie. I open a new file copy, paste works. I create a module copy paste works. Meaning on my machine something is triggering the paste not to work.
It's driving me mad. I attach a file with a small vba. Many thks

If you are experiencing the problem on one machine and not on another, it's a bit tricky to work out what's going on. Was there a problem with the attached spreadsheet that occurs on both machines?
