    Talking Customizing Font Color

I would like to know how to customize the color of font in a specific cell. In MS Word I can customize to any color using RGB numbers or HSL numbers. How can I do the same in Excl except to copy and paste from MS-Word. any help would be good. I am talking about 6 dozen unique colors.

Excel operates on a palette of 56 colours. They can be any 56 colours you want but no workbook can use more than 56 at a time.

If you try and set something to a (RGB) colour not in the palette then Excel will change your colour to the nearest one (numerically) in the palette.

So what you have to do is make sure you have the colours you want in the palette and stick to using them - and if you need more than 56 then I'm afraid all you can do is wait for Excel 2007 which will, we are told, have the capability.
    Enjoy,
    Tony
