Slide Show pictures mixing up! Please help!!

I've built a Powerpoint slide show consisting of approximately 300 pictures. Upon opening my saved copy I've discovered that not a small number of the pictures have swapped places, horizontal pictures have stretched into vertical ones and vice versa! What can I do? If I start all over again will I have the same problems? Can someone help me?!

Howdy. You don't indicate which version you are using. On XL2002/2003, I have found problems with an option under AutoCorrect (under Tools). On the second tab "AutoFormat as you type", the last item "automatic layout for inserted objects" can cause problems. Be sure it is unchecked. Otherwsie whenever you add or move things around, the formatting will change.
