    Solved: Excel Templates

Hi I'm fairly new to excel, I have created a form for work which has a front menu linking to other worksheets. is there anyway i can use a macro to create a button on the front menu which will copy the current workbook and open it under a different name, basically i need to distribute the workbook to work colleges and i want other users to keep the copy i send them as a master and use the button to create a copy under a save name of there choice.

I hope i have not made that sound too confusing.

Thanks for any help, great forum by the way!

    Hi Paul
    Welcome to VBAX,
Why not save your file as a template and send that to them? Then they get a new copy each time they need it, which they can save as they please.
