    Applications of SUMPRODUCT

    I know pretty much what the basic function (so to speak) of SUMPRODUCT is, but I've noticed that several of the gurus offer it as the solution to all kinds of problems. Is there a good reference somewhere that goes into detail about various applications of this function? I can't seem to get a feel for how to use it in other than the most basic ways.
