Sleeper: Lost VB Project

Do you any reasons for losing VB project?

I met this situation two times.

I made a template in Excel 2000. When I upgrage to Excel 2003. I found I cannot use it and got the error message shown in the picture. I fixed the issue by rename all modules from Chinese into English.

However, I cannot use the updated template again due to the same issue.

What else I can try?

Taking a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836031/ it seems the project gets fixed with service pack 3 (though that is for office xp). I'd try going to the office update site:
http://office.microsoft.com/OfficeUpdate/default.aspx
And seeing if a similar SP is available for office 03
