    Another MVP! Congrats Ken!

I found out this morning that we have another Microsoft MVP in our midst and would like to be among the first to publicly congratulate Ken Puls.

Since I have known Ken he has always been one the more helpful members of the community. I think, like me, he does much of it to learn for himself but I also know he puts in a tremendous amount of effort simply for the joy of helping others.

Ken: you are an asset to the community and your award is well deserved. Many Congratulations!
    Enjoy,
    Tony

Nice and my congratulations to the reward.

I sincerely hope that it will not be a burden for You in that You will become afraid to 'lose Your face' when discussing on the public forums.

I also hope that You, together with the other younger MVP fellows, set focus on integration and especially on the .NET platform.

    Take care,
    Dennis

I have just returned from the MVP UK Open Day (my first, I hope of many) and, apart from not quite understanding how I got to be amongst the great and the good, I found it a tremendous occasion from which I learned a lot. Being an MVP is an opportunity granted to a priveleged few and should not be a burden.

Make the most of it, Ken. Other people have already judged you favourably and will continue to do so whether or not you are an MVP. Just continue being yourself and doing what you do.
    Enjoy,
    Tony

    Great work, Ken!
    Regards,

I wept for myself because I had no PivotTable.

Then I met a man who had no AutoFilter.

    Thanks guys!

I haven't posted at all today, really, as we're trying to get our quarter end done.

Thanks a bunch for all of your comments. It still feels a little strange to given the same recognition as the legends whose books I own, sites I frequent and tools I have installed to do what I do. I'm flattered, humbled, and exhilerated, all rolled up into one neat package.

Dennis, don't worry about me losing my head. I'm excited by the new opportunities that this gives me to learn and share, and don't expect it to become a burden.

    Congratulations!!
You know you're really in trouble when the light at the end of the tunnel turns out to be the headlight of a train hurtling towards you

The major part of getting the right answer lies in asking the right question...

Like Tony said, make the most of it. There's nothing wrong with a little arrogance, lol.

To every problem there is a solution, even if I dont know it, so this posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties.

If Debugging is harder than writing a program and your code is as good as you can possibly make
it, then by definition you're not smart enough to debug it.
