Forms Protected
Hi All
I have a microsoft Word Documents with Form controls on it. In order for the forms to work, the document needs to be protected in order for the controls to be locked down and usable.
My problem is that when the form is protected, its not possible to insert bullet points, change text formatting etc in the rest of the document!
Is there a way around this?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum- always good to see new members.
If you are adding in bullet points, changing text formatting, etx. as a result of some code in your UserForm, then you can simply turn off protection via VBA and then, at the end of the sub/function use VBA again to turn protection back on.

Forms vs. Editing Restrictions
Afternoon there.
What Form Fields are you using in the Document? If you are only using the Text Form Field, you can delete the Fields and then start using the Exceptions under the Editing Restrictions section for Protect Document...
This would enable the User to edit only each particular region and still be able to modify the formatting.
