    hlookup and vlookup

Can we use this in the same statement. I have a matrix,

    A B C D E F G
    1 a a
    2 g
    3
    4
    5
    6

I want to be able to find what the value of D4(using hlookup) and using vlookup.

Is there a way to do this?

    thanks

if u use Index and vergelijken (match) you will get it

I'm using the dutch version. So if you use the english version you have to replace "vergelijken" to "match"

Excel will handle that internationalisation automatically.
