Refreshing linked cells to 3 workbooks on different pc's

    Hi there

I have a 'master' workbook running on a pc that holds the product data for an ePoS app, the 'source'.

Each 'slave' tablet has linked cells to this source in the style of
    =IF('Q:\[EposMaster.xlsm]Products'!A1="","",'Q:\[EposMaster.xlsm]Products'!A1)
I have tried many different ways to automatically update the links to the slave tablets but cannot get them to do it without closing all the workbooks and then opening the slaves after the master has been opened.

Any ideas as to how this can be done in real time without closing anything?

    Best regards

    Update

Master - cell F9 is clear, F10 is zero.

Slave - cells do not match.

Update Values did not work, so I tried changing the source to another one of the slaves and it updated all the links ok, albeit with their old data.

I then changed it back to the original master and it looked as if it had worked (i.e. It cleared the values and then re-inserted them) but it used the old data (Sandwich has been deleted from the source workbook!)

    I'm stumped

Couldn't find the answer, it seems it was something to do with network/mapped drives, so did it through vba.
