Not long ago I read an article in which Schwieb (on MacBU) indicated that there will be some kind of cross-platform programming, but not for 2008 - it will be the follow-on edition. That's at least refreshing... given the demise of any kind of programming support (aside from AppleScript) on the Mac side. Don't get me wrong, AppleScript can be useful. But it does nothing for cross-platform use.
